In light of Senate President Williams' expressed intention to pursue a statewide secondhand smoke law in KY, ALA, AHA, ACS and CTFK articulate the only circumstances under which this policy would be acceptable in the current tobacco control environment in Kentucky.
  • It must be 100% comprehensive - NO exemptions
  • It must NOT prevent local communities from passing stronger laws if desired
  • It MUST include FUNDING for local education and effective enforcement efforts
